Tuesday, June 21st, 2016
Dougherty County Administrator Richard Crowdis told county commissioners Monday that while the county’s projected fund balance at the end of this month will be a healthy $15.84 million, the county’s maintenance and operations budget for the coming fiscal year will increase by almost 4 percent because of rising costs.
In the county’s continuing discussion of its FY 2017 budget, Crowdis pointed out that projected cost increases for services, capital improvements and the general price of doing business would increase by a projected $1,867,733 during the next fiscal year.
