Dougherty County Officials Get First Look at SPLOST ‘Wish List’

Dougherty County commissioners got a first glimpse at a $33 million SPLOST wish list Monday morning as County Administrator Richard Crowdis gave details on some 34 projects that he’s recommending the commission consider if voters approve the countywide SPLOST VII referendum during the Nov. 8 general election.
The county’s wish list is pretty straightforward with most of the projected 1 percent tax funding planned for Public Safety and maintenance needs.
