The city of Albany will kick off its planned summer “Movies in the Park at Riverfront” series Saturday at Riverfront Park with a special Fathers Day weekend showing of the animated hit “Minions.”

Movies in the series, which are also scheduled June 25 and July 3, are free and open to the public. Families are invited to come out and bring their most comfortable lawn chairs and blankets for a night of fun. Concessions will be available for purchase, and the movie will start at sundown, approximately 8:45 p.m.
