Flint River Habitat Seeking Veteran Homeowners
Thursday, May 26th, 2016
Flint River Habitat is in search of qualified and eligible veterans for the homeownership program through our Veteran’s programming. Veterans who are looking for safe and affordable homeownership in Lee County are invited to apply.
Flint River Habitat offers no-interest loans to individuals and families who meet the following criteria: (1) a need for housing, (2) the ability to make a monthly mortgage payment, and (3) the willingness to partner with Flint River Habitat for 300-500 hours of sweat equity. Interested individuals would have to meet income along with other specific requirements.
The first step in the process is to check your eligibility for either program. Homeownership “interest surveys” can be found on our website or pick one up at our office at 717 Pine Avenue. Our hours are Tuesday-Friday 9am-4pm or Saturday 10am-3pm.
