Dougherty County commissioners celebrated a pair of special weeks with proclamations, welcomed back a familiar face and took care of a handful of business items during a relatively brief business meeting Monday morning.
The board voted to approve an $18,632.65 contract for EMS uniforms with Galls LLC of Lexington, Ky.; to authorize the sale of a 2007 surplus dump truck to Worth County for $20,000; to OK a stormwater facility maintenance agreement with Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, and to authorize an agreement between the county, the state Department of Human Services and the Dougherty Sheriff’s Office.
