Albany City Commission Gets First Look at $274M FY 2017 Budget

Albany city commissioners got their first detailed look at City Manager Sharon Subadan’s proposed Fiscal Year 2017 budget during a commission work session this morning.
The budget, which must be approved by the commission by June 30, is a $274,006,307 work in progress, a number that shaves $1.5 million off the city’s FY 2016 budget. Subadan also told commissioners she plans to ask for a millage rollback based on budget numbers.
