Third Annual Boyd-Grant Community Service Awards Dinner Announced for May 6th

Albany Civil Rights Institute Executive Director, W. Frank Wilson announced that the Third Annual Boyd- Grant Community Services Awards Dinner is set for May 6th at The James H. Gray Civic Center at 7.p.m. .
The speaker for this year’s dinner is Rev. Carolynne Grant- Williams, daughter of the late Rev. E James Grant.
Each year an individual or group and a business is recognized for actions taken or decisions made that changed Albany and the Southwest Georgia area for the better. Past recipients are Ms. Jane Willson, Mount Zion Baptist Church, Charles Sherrod and Bobs Candies.
Tables for this event are $500 or $600 with a full page color ad. Individual tickets are $50 and an ad is $100.
Tickets are available at ACRI, Tuesday –Saturday from 10-4.
