Flint River Habitat Habitat for Humanity and longtime national partner Lowe’s are hosting “how-to” construction clinics for women volunteering during the ninth annual National Women Build Week. Taking place April 30-May 8, National Women Build Week encourages women across the country to devote at least one day to help families build strength, stability and self-reliance through housing in their local communities. The project will support “Home for the Holidays”, a nationwide initiative by Lowe’s and Habitat for Humanity to build or repair 1,000 homes alongside families in time for the holidays.

“We are looking forward to National Women Build Week and the opportunity to engage more women in our work,” said Jennifer Vanston, Executive Director of Flint River Habitat. “We invite women of all skill levels to join us on the build site and take the clinics hosted by Lowe’s.”
