Albany Utility Board Sees First Fruits of Weatherization Program

Two city homeowners who applied for and were approved for an Albany Utility Board-directed weatherization program now have more energy-efficient residences, the first of 30 homes expected to receive upgrades in the initial year of the program.
Utility Board Administrative Services Director Mary Petty and Weatherization Auditor Robert Bishop gave Utility Board members an update on the program during the board’s meeting Thursday morning.
