Albany-Dougherty EDC Board Reviews Existing Industry Celebration

The Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission board got a briefing on events from the recent Industry Celebration Week during the board’s monthly meeting Wednesday.
EDC Vice President Barbara Rivera Holmes used a slide presentation in her discussion of the week’s existing industries award winners: Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, Mars Chocolate North America, and Marine Corps Logistics Base-Albany. Pfizer won the EDC’s Global Commerce Award, Mars Chocolate its Economic Impact Award, P&G the Excellence in Innovation Award and MCLB-Albany the Only One Albany Award for Corporate Community Leadership.
