Southwest Georgia Receives Grant Funding from Healthcare Georgia Foundation

The Southwest Public Health District received a grant recently from the Healthcare Georgia Foundation of $150,000 for the purpose of improving birth outcomes in the region, while $50,000 was also awarded for lupus support in Southwest Georgia.
The most recent round of awards from the Foundation includes nearly $1.5 million to 20 organizations for the delivery of health care services, addressing Georgia’s rural healthcare crisis and evidence-based approaches and outcomes.
