GDOT Tifton Transportation Funding Act/DBE Forum December 16th

The Georgia Department of Transportation’s Southwest Georgia (District Four) Office is hosting a forum Dec. 16 on the Transportation Funding Act (HB 170) and its impact on routine maintenance projects. The additional revenue generated as a result of the Act will offer increased opportunities for investment in maintenance (i.e., pavement repair, roadway striping and mowing and maintenance of roadside vegetation). The forum is intended primarily for an audience of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, but interested parties are also invited.
