Atlanta Developer Submits Albany Heights Bid

In what could prove to be the first real breakthrough in the redevelopment of Albany’s downtown district, an Atlanta firm has put together a bid package to purchase the Pine Avenue Albany Heights building for a planned mixed-use development.
Financial details are still being ironed out, but city officials plan to take the matter to the Albany City Commission Tuesday for consideration.
