EDC Chooses Chris Hatcher as Career Academy Board Representative

The Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission board, at the urging of board member and Albany Technical College President Anthony Parker, voted unanimously Wednesday to name EDC board member Chris Hatcher to the Commodore Conyers College and Career Academy board of directors.
Parker told the EDC board having members of the business community on the Career Academy board will weigh more heavily in the local program’s favor as funding and certification decisions are made. Parker said four applications for funding have been made statewide but that funding for only three is available.
