Albany will reportedly be getting two new restaurants in the near future once Ameris Bank closes and vacates its recently acquired former Bank of America branch at the corner of Dawson Road and Westover Boulevard, according to city officials.
Representatives from the Albany Dougherty Planning Office have confirmed that the former Bank of America branch will be demolished to make way for a new four-unit strip center that will house a dental office, a retail store front and two restaurants that have not formally been identified.
