ACRI Community Night to Focus on Veterans

The Albany Civil Rights Institute’s monthly Community Night  have it’s focus on Veterans and will be held Thursday November 12th at 6:30 p.m.

The Albany Civil Rights Institute recognizes the fact that the rights we enjoy are due in part to h service our Veteran’s gave to protect our country. “All gave some, but some gave all “ and it is only fair that we now support both our Vets and our active duty personnel.

Ms. Sherri Whitfield from the Department of Veterans Services and Ms. Beatrice Williams,  Veteran’s Representative from DOL will be the featured speakers.

Community Night for November and December will be held on the 2nd Thursday due to Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Also, all veterans and active military will be admitted to the Civil Rights Institute’s tour free with I.D. through November 30th.

Persons attending with Veterans or active military will be admitted at half price.
