Celebrate Women's Entrepreneurship Day on Thursday, November 19, 2015 live-streamed in 144 countries and 111 top universities and colleges worldwide! This monumental event is the world’s largest celebration of successful women entrepreneurs, women and millennial innovators, and job creators launching startups; bringing ideas to life, driving economic growth, and expanding human welfare. 

Women’s Entrepreneurship Day will empower the 4 billion women on the planet, bring hope, and help elevate the 250 million girls living in poverty!  Albany, Georgia Mayor Dorothy Hubbard is proclaiming November 19, 2015 as Women’s Entrepreneurship Day!

Locally, Albany State University, through the Center for Economic Education/ Small and Minority Entrepreneurship and  in collaboration with the newly formed Albany Business League will join the international effort with the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Forum, to be held on the campus of Albany State University at 6:00 PM in Peace Hall, Room 127. This event is FREE to emerging and existing women entrepreneurs and will feature seasoned entrepreneurs who are graduates from Albany State University as well as business experts who will provide insight on what it takes for women to get to the next level in their enterprises.
