Phoebe is holding Camp Good Grief on Saturday, October 24, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Willson Hospice House for children ages 5 through 18. Camp Good Grief is a one-day camp designed to help children cope with the loss of a loved one.

Camp Good Grief offers a combination of fun camp activities, grief education and emotional support.  Camp participants engage in activities and small group sessions to help them learn about and discuss grief in a safe, relaxed environment with their peers. Campers are assisted by experienced, trained counselors, who are prepared to deal with bereavement issues.

Registration is open and there is no fee for Camp Good Grief.  The camp is supported by the Lopez Hospice Golf Classic and the Phoebe Foundation. Registration ends October 10. For more information or to register, contact Jennifer Stephens, Willson Hospice House director, at (229) 312-6956.
