Tommy Gregors: RiverQuarium Operating in Black

Thronateeska Heritage Center/Flint RiverQuarium Director Tommy Gregors gave the Dougherty County Commission news Monday that the community has been waiting 10 years to hear: The RiverQuarium operated in the black for the first time last year.
Gregors, who has been serving as director of both facilities for the past several years, noted that drastic cuts in expenses and other measures allowed the downtown attraction to finish its most recent fiscal year with a surplus of slightly less than $47,000.
