The findings of a survey conducted through Albany State University’s Center of Excellence for Community Engagement revealed some interesting results for officials at the school and the city of Albany to consider. But perhaps the most valuable impact of the study was set in motion at the Albany-Dougherty Inner City Authority’s monthly meeting Wednesday.
ASU Vice President for Institutional Advancement Clifford Porter told the ADICA board after Timothy Sweetholp, Daniel Affortu and a group of Albany State students presented findings of their Downtown Student Survey Wednesday that the university is open to discussion about a closer relationship with the city.
