Initial FERC Ruling Clears Way for Sabal Trail Pipeline

People who know Dinorah Hall, the face of the local battle against the proposed Sabal Trail natural gas pipeline that would pass through parts of southwestern Dougherty County — and Hall’s property — know that she’s never going to give up a fight until, as she so eloquently state’s in her lilting, accented English, “the fat lady starts singing.”
But even Hall’s ever present optimism took a dramatic hit Tuesday with the release of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s draft environmental impact statement.
