Governor Deal Names Early County Judicial Appointment

Gov. Nathan Deal today announced the appointment of William H. Mills as state court judge of Early County. Mills will fill the vacancy created by the appointment of the Honorable Thomas H. Baxley as Superior Court Judge of the Pataula Judicial Circuit. The appointment will take effect upon swearing-in.

Mills is a solo practitioner in Blakely. He also serves as Municipal Court Judge for the cities of Blakely and Fort Gaines. Mills earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and his law degree from Samford University Cumberland School of Law.
