Albany-Dougherty EDC Asked to Take Part in Education Collaborative

As the Dougherty County Commission had been on Monday, the Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission board was asked Thursday to join the education collaborative established by education leaders in the community.
EDC President Justin Strickland told the board at its monthly meeting that interim Darton State College President Paul Jones had asked the economic development group to appoint a member of what is expected to be a 12-person panel to increase the reach of the collaborative, created by Jones, Albany Technical College President Anthony Parker (who is a member of the EDC board), Albany State University interim President Art Dunning and Dougherty County School System Superintendent Butch Mosely.
