New Restaraunt Rooster's Offers 'Cheers'-Like Atmosphere
Monday, August 10th, 2015
It’s not hard to imagine Rooster’s, Lee County’s latest gathering place for a cold drink and a tasty meal, becoming the “Cheers” of Southwest Georgia.
It’s already got its “Norm” and “Cliff” — regulars Dougie “Mini-Me” Batchelor and Dwight “Pops” Kulbe — and it’s quickly becoming a place where everybody knows everyone’s name, from 14-year-old budding artist Emily Walker, who drew the killer Indian head on the chalkboard, to waitress Krista Baron, who will never be mistaken for the feisty Karla.
