Dougherty County Commission Sets Date on Microbrewery Ruling

The Dougherty County Commission set July 20 as the date to rule on a rezoning request made by Morgan III Properties that, if approved, would allow the company to construct a microbrewery on some 29 acres of land in the southwest portion of the county.
Discussed during a public hearing May 18, Morgan III Properties principle Dr. Tripp Morgan asked for and received permission to table the issue after several nearby plantation owners and representatives complained about the request.
