Albany Utility Board Move on City's Horizon
Monday, July 27th, 2015
City Manager Sharon Subadan has confirmed that the city plans to move its Albany Utility Board offices from its current location at 207 Pine Ave. in the former Gordon Hotel building.
Subadan said she cannot reveal the planned location of the Utility Board’s new offices because that real estate matter was discussed by the Albany City Commission in executive session, but five different sources with knowledge of the transaction say the city plans to move its utility business offices to the former SB&T Bank building at 401 Pine Avenue, two blocks north of its current location.
