Albany Downtown 4th of July Celebration Big Success

Thousands of revelers, despite rainy weather throughout the day, filled the Veterans Amphitheater and the grounds of the Civic Center Saturday for some good food, music and fireworks in celebration of Independence Day.
The event kicked off officially at 5 p.m. with a multitude of vendors along South Front Street selling everything from funnel cakes to tacos, hot dogs to pizza, candid apples, flowering onions and barbecue.
