Dougherty County Budget Includes 5.36% Pay Hike for County Workers

Dougherty County commissioners got their first expanded look at the county’s proposed Fiscal Year 2016 budget Monday morning, as County Administrator Richard Crowdis and Finance Director Martha Hendley went over the proposed spending plan’s general fund in detail.
Due primarily to COLA and merit raises written into the budget, the FY 2016 plan shows an increase of some $1.5 million over the county’s FY 2015 budget.
