Tom Berry's Tenure in Albany Ends Quietly

This is the way Tom Berry always wanted to go out. He’s never been one for fanfare, parties or lingering goodbyes.
Albany’s interim city manager for the past 10 months, Berry packed up the things in his his fifth-floor office at the downtown Government Center Thursday afternoon, and Friday morning the city was technically rudderless, without a person responsible for calling the shots in the day-to-day operation of its business.
