Sharon Subadan Named Albany City Manager

An air of excitement was in the downtown Government Center Tuesday night after the Albany City Commission voted unanimously to name Assistant Hillsborough County (Fla.) Administrator Sharon Subadan Albany’s new city manager.
The decision is contingent upon successful negotiation of a contract with the city manager-select. Subadan said in a phone conversation with The Albany Herald after the meeting that she wants to get contract negotiations done “as quickly as possible."
