DOCO Credit Union will honor six award recipients' with $6,000 in scholarship prizes on Thursday, May 21st at its Main Branch located at 107 N. Westover Blvd., Albany at 2 pm.  The winners are:

$1500 Winners -

1. Savannah Mullins - Westover High School

2. Abigail Simmons - Deerfield Windsor High School

3. Nelliena Young - Westover High School

$500 Winners -

1. Courtney Terrell - Colquitt County High School

2. Mason Dominey - Lee County High School

3. Chelsey Jones - Bainbridge High School

For eleven years, DOCO has been awarding these scholarships to worthy students to assist them as they strive for higher education.  The candidate pool of over 60 was required to submit an application, letter of recommendation, transcript and written essay.   Due to the caliber of students applying, along with their academics, extra curricula activities and qualifications the decision was made to award six scholarships for a total of $6,000.00!  DOCO Credit Union is committed to providing the highest level of excellence to our communities by honoring students who work hard to better themselves.
