Albany-Dougherty Comprehensive Plan to be Updated

Citizens of Albany and Dougherty County will soon have an opportunity to let their voices be heard on matters concerning future planning and develop for both the city and county when the planning and zoning department begins a series of meetings this summer to update the Albany-Dougherty Comprehensive Plan.
Albany-Dougherty Planning Director Paul Forgey told members of the Dougherty County Commission Monday that in order to be fully prepared for the next update to the county’s comprehensive plan, there would be a series of meetings held throughout the next four months.
