Each year the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce takes the opportunity to do something special for our small businesses during Small Business Week. This year the Chamber is offering a Lunch & Learn to chamber members at no cost and $10 to the public. It will be held on May 6th, at 11:30am-1pm at the Albany Welcome Center.
Debbie Finney, Southwest Georgia Area Director UGA Small Business Development Center in Albany, will facilitate the Lunch & Learn, focusing on digital marketing. During this session participants will learn how successful businesses are connecting with customers wherever they are – at work, home, or on the go.
Topics include:
· Develop effective mobile and online strategies
· Connect and engage customers
· Build customer loyalty for your business
· Increase profits
· Why mobile changes the way we do business
· Best practices to reach customers by incorporating a real time digital strategy into your marketing plan
Finney brings 28 years of work experience in the private sector to the SBDC, where she consults with Georgia businesses in the areas of marketing strategies, branding, social media marketing, digital marketing strategies, strategic planning and business management. She has instructed business owners throughout the state on marketing and digital marketing strategy, and has presented her program, “Branding – Smart Move for Small Business,” nationally.
