Wild Game Dinner, Auction and Outdoor Show set for Oct. 6th
Thursday, April 16th, 2015
The 23rd annual Wild Game Dinner, Auction and Outdoor Show to benefit the Boy Scouts will be taking place on Oct. 6 at Potter Community Center.
Coordinators say the event starts with an outdoor show beginning at 4 p.m., a reception and silent auction at 5:30 p.m., a wild game dinner at 6 p.m. and a live auction and gun raffle at 7 p.m. Tables of eight have been on sale for $800, with sponsorship opportunities available. Individual tickets are available for $40, with $25 being the cost for a gun raffle ticket.
The gun raffle offers a one-in-four chance of winning. Three sponsorship opportunity levels have been made available. The Eagle Scout Sponsor price is $2,500 and the Life Scout Sponsor level is $1,700 — both of which include two tables, recognition in the program, signs at the event and special corporate recognition by the scouts. The Star Scout Sponsor level is $1,200 and includes one table, recognition in program and a sign at the event.
Potter Community Center is located at 2621 Wildfair Road. Coordinators say proceeds from the event benefit the South Georgia Council, Boy Scouts of America.
