Phoebe Putney Health System’s Class A uniform program received the “Image of the Year” award from the North-American Association of Uniform Manufactures and Distributors. This award recognizes achievement in design, creation and manufacturing of image apparel.  By receiving this award, Phoebe joins an elite group of previous winners such as Delta, Hyatt and BP Oil.

“The uniform program has been at the heart of our culture for over 30 years,“ said Joel Wernick, President and CEO of Phoebe Putney Health System. “We can all agree the first impression is a lasting impression.  Our goal is that employees be readily identifiable as professional, friendly and approachable.”

Today’s “Phoebe Family” wears many different uniforms. From scrubs to suits, all employees are dressed in a professional, engaging manner.  The Class A program that won this national recognition includes navy and gray suits, blazers and slacks.  This category applies to all executive and most professional and administrative positions.

“This recognition is further validation that the Phoebe attire, which is so deeply engrained in our culture, is indeed making a positive impact,” said Wernick.
