The Albany Area Arts Council will host their 16th Annual Southwest Georgia Regional Art Show and Sale at Thronateeska Science Museum, June 4 – 20, 2015. An opening reception is held at Thronateeska Science Museum June 4, 2015 from 6PM – 9PM. A program showcasing the art of the participating artists will be distributed throughout the exhibition. The reception, the exhibition, and the program are free to the public. All funds collected as artist entry fees are redistributed as cash prizes. This cooperative event is meant to raise awareness about art and to support local artistic endeavor.
