The U.S. Chamber of Commerce notified A. West Enterprise that as of Friday, February 27, they were in the TOP 10 for the 2015 Community of Excellence Award.

“Since I disclosed to another company that they were in the TOP 10, I thought it only fair to let you know that A. West is also currently in the TOP 10.” said Sarah (Barnes) Keller, Manager, Communications & Strategy, U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “Despite the cold temperatures here in Washington, D.C., the race for the 2015 Community Excellence Award is heating up!  The top contenders are keeping it a tight race but there’s still time for a surprise. This award is decided through online public voting. To show support for Albany’s representative, the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce and the Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission are asking everyone to cast your vote for A.  The U. S. Chamber of Commerce recognized 100 small businesses throughout the United States as Blue Ribbon Small Businesses. These businesses are eligible for the 2015 Community of Excellence Award. According to the U.S. Chamber this year’s winners were selected from a record number of applicants across the nation. The top 100 businesses demonstrated exceptional business practices in areas including strategic planning, employee development, community involvement, and customer service. They were also recognized for their dedication to the principles of free enterprise and contributions to restoring jobs and supporting economic growth.
