Hamilton Chosen for Albany Transportation Position

Interim City Manager Tom Berry confirmed this afternoon that city Transit Director David Hamilton will be named the city’s transportation manager, a position that will place him in charge of transit and the Southwest Georgia Regional Airport.
“Of course, he will be named interim manager so that the City Commission can look into the recommendation,” Berry said. “But as transportation director, he will oversee the city’s transit system and the airport. David has proven himself and will, I think, do well in the position.”
