Darton Faculty Member Recognized as Top Cardiovascular Technology Instructor in the Country

Darton State College instructor, Anthony Williams has been named a “Top Cardiovascular Technology Instructor,” by medicaltechnologyschools.com. Williams is the cardiovascular technology program director at Darton.
The website selected the top 20 cardiovascular technology instructors across the country based on the their professionalism, commitment to their profession, and their dedication to student success.
Williams started the cardiovascular technology (CVT) program at Darton State College in January 2003. Darton’s CVT program, which is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Cardiovascular Technology (JRC-CVT), is the only one within the University System of Georgia.
Williams, who is a registered nurse and a registered cardiovascular invasive specialist, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Asbury College in Kentucky, and an Associate of Science degree in nursing from Darton. In 2007, he earned a master’s in management with a concentration in healthcare administration from Troy University.
