Tommy Coleman Elected President of the Georgia Council of School Board Attorneys

Tommy Coleman has been elected president of the Georgia Council of School Board Attorneys at a meeting of the Council/Executive Committee at the Georgia School Board Association headquarters in Lawrenceville. Coleman represents the Dougherty County Board of Education and the Worth County Board of Education.
The Council plans and carries out legal training for school board lawyers throughout Georgia. It also conducts training sessions for school board members at the annual convention in December.
Coleman is a former mayor of the City of Albany. He will have represented the Dougherty County School System 20 years in August.
Coleman previously served as president of the City Attorneys’ Section at the Georgia Municipal Association. He was elected to the Georgia Municipal Association Hall of Fame in 2013.
