City of Albany CFO JoEllen Brophy Resigns

Interim City Manager Tom Berry confirmed Tuesday afternoon that city of Albany Chief Financial Officer JoEllen Brophy has resigned from her position.
Brophy, who was named interim finance director by former City Manager James Taylor in October 2013 and was promoted to the newly created CFO position by Taylor early last year, was not immediately available for comment.
Berry said the effective date of Brophy’s resignation had not been determined.
