Georgia Quail Invitational is Keeping an Albany Tradition Alive

After the trials and tribulations of the demise of Quail Unlimited in southwest Georgia, a group of Albany citizens banded together to form the Southwest Georgia Chapter of Quail forever. This weekend the nascent group took its first baby steps into ensuring the annual event would carry on.
The inaugural two-day Georgia Quail Invitational is their determined effort to showcase the region while generating funds and awareness of the area’s abundant natural resources.
