Albany City Commission Tables Civic Center Concert Series Proposal

Albany City Commissioners decided Tuesday to table a proposal that would partner the city with the local Threeforty Creative Group to bring a series of three concerts to the Albany Civic Center.
The proposal, championed by city Recreation and Parks Director Joel Holmes, would have the city provide $100,000 in funding for each of three shows while Threeforty would handle talent buying, promotions, production, marketing, vending, artist hospitality and sponsorship sales.
