Darton State College to Salute Veterans

Darton State College’s Office of Military and Adult Education will be hosting “A Salute to Veterans” today, November 11 beginning at 3:30 p.m. The Veteran’s Day ceremony will be held at Darton State College with the Memorial Bell Rededication beginning at 3:30 in the E building driveway. There will be a reception at 4:00 p.m. in the J building multi-purpose room, followed by a concert and ceremony featuring the Darton State College orchestra and concert band with special guests including local and military dignitaries at 4:30 in the J building theater.
Stefane Raulerson, Director of Military and Adult Education at Darton State College, said, “We want to honor and thank our veterans for their service. Through this ceremony, we hope to express our sincere gratitude to those who have served. All members of the Albany area community are encouraged to join us in recognizing the accomplishments and sacrifices of the men and women who have so proudly and valiantly worn the uniforms of our nation’s military.”
