AT&T supports higher education in Southwest Georgia. The company presented a $1,500 check to Albany State University on Thursday, Oct. 16, in the president’s office. The contribution was presented to the ASU Foundation for student scholarships.
“AT&T is pleased to be a part of Albany State University’s effort to support students in their academic endeavors,” said Courtney Brinson, AT&T Georgia Regional Director of External Affairs. “Supporting the university and providing student scholarships will remain a priority for us.”
AT&T made a similar contribution to ASU last fall earmarked for scholarships and retention programs.
“We are pleased with the AT&T partnership and we are thankful for their investment in our students,” said ASU Interim President Dr. Arthur Dunning. “Albany State University relies on businesses, corporations, alumni and the community to sustain our programs and to provide scholarships for students. We appreciate AT&T’s continued support.”
