The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help the Lighthouse Nursing Agency recruit a number of nurses to work in the Albany area. 

The recruitment will be held Monday, Oct. 6, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the GDOL’s Albany Career Center, 1608 South Slappey Blvd.  

The company is recruiting registered nurses who have at least six months experience in the home health-care industry.  

Applicants must have a minimum of an associate degree in nursing and a current license as a registered nurse. They must also have a valid class C driver’s license. 

According to the GDOL, registered nurses in the Metro Albany area average $28 an hour.
