New Street Lights Will Brighten Old Northside

Parts of downtown Albany will soon be a little brighter.
New street lamps were installed along Jefferson Street and Tift Avenue in the historic old Northside neighborhood.
The old lights will come down once the new lights are turned on.
Downtown manager Aaron Blair hopes the new lights will make the area safer and more beautiful.
