SB&T Announces Several Officer Promotions

SB&T, a division of Synovus Bank, announces several officer promotions.

Jill Creech has been promoted to Vice President and recently transitioned to the Business Banker position after serving as Mortgage Lender for nine years. Creech is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA in Finance & Banking. She is a member of numerous community organizations including: The Albany Board of Realtors and Junior Woman’s Club. She is a Leadership Albany Alumnae and has been named Albany Herald’s Best of the Best Mortgage Lender, Albany Herald’s One of the Best Bankers, and Southwest Georgia’s 40 Under 40. 

Tim McLean, Synovus Securities, has been promoted to Vice President. He joined the bank eleven years ago. Originally from Americus, McLean graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University. He has obtained his Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent), and Series 66 (Registered Investment Advisor) licenses.  He is also a licensed insurance and annuity agent. McLean is a member of the Albany Rotary Club, Vice President of the Albany Symphony Board of Directors, and volunteer coach for Lee County Youth Baseball.

Bill Turoski, Lee County Branch Manager, has also been promoted to Vice President.  He joined SB&T fifteen years ago. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA in Accounting. Turoski currently serves as Vice Chair of Lee County Family Connection, on the Lee County High School Business Advisory Committee and as a Career/Technology volunteer. He was named Lee County Chamber Man of the Year in 2011 and is a graduate of Leadership Lee. 

Pat Barnett, East Albany Branch Manager, has also been promoted to Assistant Vice President. Pat has been with SB&T for over twenty years. She is a graduate of Albany Tech and native of Albany. Active in the community, Barnett currently serves on the Liberty House Board, Leadership Albany Board and the Albany Chamber of Commerce Small Business Committee. She also is a graduate of Leadership Albany. 

Jamie Knight, Oakland Branch Manager, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President.  Jamie joined SB&T in 2006. He is a native of Lee County and graduate of Georgia Southern University with a BBA in Finance. Knight has been awarded Kiwanian of the Year, Southwest Georgia’s 40 Under 40, and Albany Herald’s One of the Best Bankers.  Additionally, he has served as President of the Lee County Kiwanis club, Treasurer of Albany Area Crimestoppers, and on the Lee County Parks & Recreation Authority Commission. He is a graduate of Leadership Lee as well.
