Press release from the issuing company
Friday, March 14th, 2014
Wild Adventures Theme Park opens Saturday, March 15 with new animals, new shows, a star-filled concert lineup and hundreds of smiling faces.
“We always strive to make every new season at Wild Adventures bigger, better and more fun than the last,” said General Manager Molly Deese. “We can’t wait to open the 2014 season on Saturday and see our guests enjoying all the fun new additions to the park.”
Guests will also get to explore the park on the new “Find Our Hearts” Scavenger Hunt. Visitors can play all season long, searching out clues for a chance to win monthly prizes. One lucky family will win the Grand Prize at the end of the season, four Gold Season Passes to Wild Adventures for the next five years! The clues will change throughout the season so guests are invited to play every time they visit for more chances to win.
New Shows
Throughout the park, new shows will join returning favorites and offer something for everyone. Laugh while learning from a country scientist at the new Arlo’s Silly Science. Family members can compete against each other in fun physical challenges at the new Family Frenzy game show. Plus, guest favorites like Tigers of India are back. As the season moves forward, a rotating lineup of seasonal shows will round out the non-stop entertainment.
“Being able to sit, relax and laugh in a show is an important part of the park experience,” said Molly Deese. “We want our guests to have new entertainment to enjoy each time they visit.”
Thrills Large and Small
All forty rides are back this year at Wild Adventures, including seven roller coasters and the newest rides, Tailspin and Wacky Wheels.
New Fun Food
Wild Adventures guests will have the opportunity to cool off with an undeniably southern new treat – frozen sweet tea.
Concerts
The one-of-a-kind park setting creates an unforgettable evening for families, ending their adventure-filled day with performances by an all-star concert line-up including a platinum selling American Idol winner, a trio of country legends and a nine time GRAMMY® award-winning gospel artist. Among the performers are three with local roots, recent American Idol winner and Leesburg native Phillip Phillips and Valdosta born Rhett Akins with his country chart topping son Thomas Rhett.
