The Georgia Department of Labor will help Healthcare Staffing recruit a number of certified nurse assistants to work in the Albany area.     

The recruitment will be held Wednesday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the GDOL’s Albany Career Center, 1608 South Slappey Boulevard.

The company will be hiring licensed CNAs with at least six months experience and certifications in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid, along with a valid Georgia driver’s license.

The CNAs who are hired must be able to assist patients with daily living activities in a mental health facility. The jobs include monitoring patients and charting their activities, along with providing training for the patients in personal and social skills, basic academics, and work skills.  

Applicants are encouraged to bring resumes, writing pens and dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.
